Let's meet in TL-2236 on Wednesday October 29th at 9:30am.

Matt is back in town and can tell us about SPIN and we can spend some time on updates, but I'd like to focus mainly on the Winter SAD to discuss our plans and get updates. I'll talk about the schedule and what we'd like to accomplish during the Spring run. The three big jobs over the shutdown are ...

  • Laser upgrade - John, can you tell us about the electronics you're building to control rep rate and how it will interface to the control room, and Shukui can you make a couple of slides summarizing the tests you are doing to compare the lasers and in particular talk about the laser we'll install during the shutdown, so we all have the high level picture.
  • Brock cavity - Phil, can you tell us where we're at with parts to install the new cube/Brock cavity, we can make a list of work we'd like to get done before the shutdown, and support we'll need .. likely ME, S&A and PSS.
  • Bubble chamber - Riad, can you tell us your straw man schedule for Bubble activities from ~now through the Summer SAD, and have a list of Winter SAD activities and resources you may need. That's already a full plate, but a good opportunity to bring up anything else.

If you want to show slides post them to the meeting wiki here: https://wiki.jlab.org/ciswiki/index.php/October_29,_2014_-_CIS_Group_Meeting

Sounds like I should bring some donuts! :)
