- Joe G. points out that it might be convenient to attached the photocathode puck manipulator to the prep chamber. This way, in case of success, we do not have to vent the gun to replace the initial puck with dummy cathode (for HV processing) with an actual multi-alkali or GaAs photocathode.
- Phil A. comments that such manipulator exists and seems to be ready for use, but we need to get input from the designers to see if the length is correct, considering the GTS gun vacuum chamber size. At least, it would be good to do a dry fit: bring the manipulator to the GTS and see if it is long enough. We must do this w/o the ball cathode of course.
