Outstanding design issues
- move 2k cold box north to create clearance for transfer line
- clear all interferences created by moving cold box north (move control cabinets and manway)
- make configurations of model to show what is in scope of AL, remote assembler, shipper, field installer, and operator
- make it possible to add shear pins to assembly AFTER delivery to reduce maximum shipping height
- add straightener assemblies to CC inlet spools
- thermal relief design iteration
- heater final design based on finned tubing and heater cartridge quotes
- MLI attachment
- details of instrumentation tubing and panel arrangements
- incorporate internal shipping and seismic supports as a result of piping flex analysis
Questions
- can overall height be reduced any lower than 14 ft?
- can we get a more accurate weight estimate?
- is it possible to ship in this configuration?
- what will be the expected shipping loads (accelerations)?
- can we cut the shipping costs a LOT by making small changes to the dimensions?
Completed
- (in coordination with Randy) decide where to locate the process relief/blowdown; we have decided to move this into the scope of the interface box
- (in coordination with Cindy) decide whether to move north to create clearance for next transfer line; YES
- (in coordination with Cindy) decide whether to coordinate 9-1/4" bayonet heights and locations with next transfer line; NO these bayonet heights will not be coordinated
- add 6" o-ring ANSI flange for diffusion pump connection
- publish corrected model of CC inlet and outlet spools to allow the flex analysis to proceed
- lower 9-1/4" bayonets and valves to reduce maximum shipping height
- move process relief/blowdown iteration out of the scope of the 2k box
- make initial estimate of shipping size and weight
- How to attach spools to outlet nozzles of small CCs (especially CC6)
- Manway downsize; NO
