'''Kinney Pump Relocation'''
* Detailed design of Kinney suction and discharge piping system was completed.

* The material for Kinney suction has been received. The material for Kinney discharge has ordered.

* Started the detailed design package of the cooling water system.

* The actual design hours have been over the budget. This is mainly because:

  1. The modification of the existing Coalescers piping system was not initially budgeted.

  2. More efforts were put on the design in order to meet the clearness requirement of the control panel.

  3. The girder and other components near the piping system had to be modeled after interference between the piping and structure components were found.

  4. The design of the piping support was much more than originally estimated.

'''Gas Management System'''

* 35% concept planning has been completed.

* The 3D model was done based on the concept design.

* All pneumatic control valves have been ordered.

We have most of the parts. The installation is on hold. It might be used as a filler job if things ever get light. Robert will check if there is any instrumentation and controls associated. Not this year.

Goals

The purpose of this weekly meeting is to discuss plant operations and group projects with the cryogenics group managers and supervisors. During this meeting we will discuss ongoing and future projects, priorities, manpower, schedules, expenditures, and problems.

Agenda and Notes

1. Safety

2. Schedule

Plan is to run CHL1 and CHL2 at 2K until mid March.

3. JLAB Internal Group Projects

GPP (Yang, Thilan)

Kinney Pump Relocation

Main Gas and Recovery Gas Management Systems

CHL to FEL Utubes (Perry, Corey)

ESR Summer Maintenance Plan (Schleeper, Radovic, Carlton)

Change adsorber carbon. Replace CAMAC controls. Electrical and control system maintenance.

CHL1 Regeneration Skid Removal (Schleeper, Thompson) -Helium line can be isolated and blanked at anytime with LOTO. -Water lines can be blanked when CHL1 is down and water is isolated. -Vacuum line can be isolated when CHL1 cold box is off line and warm.

4. JLAB External Group Projects

UITF (Perry, Radovic, Carlton)

Thermosiphon being installed. Utubes are being fabricated. The electrical controls work will start after guard vacuum.

CHL2 Main Compressor Oil Level Alarms (Saringer, Wright)

CHL

Inspection of Relief Devices per Pressure System's Requirement: Started CTF and CHL2. Meeting yesterday to decide path forward. Alicia is writing several task hazard analysis, CTList, TOSP. We are running out of time.

5. JLAB External Projects

LCLS2 (Dixon)

We are building two recovery compressors. Due in July 17'. (Issac) We are building a guard vac skid for LCLS2. Not started. Due end of October 17'(Issac). We might also fabricate a water skid. FDR for 2K cold box Mar 9. Issac and Stapleton found grit or metal shavings in the inlet piping of the compressor. Bill Crahen is investigating.

We are starting to buy hardware to build 230 bayonets in approximately 6-7 months.

Shop is starting to cut metal for the vacuum skid.

CTF CMTF Junction Box

Repair of EV245RT Coming up with preliminary design for applying force without an EV. Drawings are under review.
