• Recent calorimeter activities:

• FEE board testing and code development - 4 towers with 4 SiPMs each
• MIP calibration - run-time calibration
• gain monitoring during run - LED based

• DAQ processing hardware and firmware

• Lehigh U. (Rosi)

• Recent/ongoing projects:

• STAR EPD
• sPHENIX HCAL - test SiPM amp+shaper boards

• Also availability of resources and close proximity to BNL could be beneficial to EEEMCal

• MIT

• Update from discussions with Lincoln Lab - large area SiPMs should be possible in principle, further discussions planned
• Also planning to check on possibilities with Hamamatsu

Simulations

• Collect all existing simulations in the EEEMCal Wiki
