NSF PREPROPOSAL PREPARATIONS

• Submission to CUA SPO: 4 November

DESY BEAMTEST PREPARATIONS

IJCLAB-ORSAY

• Tested first article - optimized some mechanical alignments

• Sent out final order for PCBs - delivery date is October 21st

• Alignment of SiPMS

• Discrete Readout: Larry finished the board designs. Need to procure cables (bias and signal) and board fabrication for the discrete readout

• Action item: Gerard will check with Fernando how to fund board fabrication and cable procurement
• A few notes on cables: Coax cables for signal - MCX to adapt to BNC. Also still need bias cables - Justin/Tristan need to make these, but the cables and connectors need to be purchased

MIT

• All equipment on route to DESY

• Two channels SiPM: Larry prepared the boards and sent to JLab where Josh has been working on assembly and testing

• assembly was completed, but some work remains on the testing

CRYTUR

• Hamamatsu SiPM 14160-6010 - 10um, 6mmx6mm, 4x4 SiPM

• Assume MIT readout, have BNC cables for connection

ONLINE SOFTWARE

• Work ongoing towards online histograms

• Portable SSD drive (~3T needed) should work to copy all data

DRAFT RUN PLAN

• Planning to use only waveform digitizer, no QDC

• Timing to synchronize digitizers
