MECHANICAL

• Platform done

• Working on the rails - waiting for special jacks

• Working on cutting roof blocks

• Cooling system was tested and is fine

SOFTWARE ANALYZER

• Working with clustering etc

• HMS DAQ cosmic data decoding ongoing

• Bill setting up the Analyzer in the Counting House for the HMS

ADMINISTRATIVE/LOGISTICS

• RSAD done

• Work on OSP ongoing

• Shift schedule posted

• Run Coordinator search ongoing - presently seven slots are filled

RUN PLANS

• SIDIS specific meeting next week

• Peter has developed a run group proposal

• Looked into scenarios with ideal and not ideal conditions (lower energy etc.)

• Optics calculations need to be done, e.g., for the sieve slit runs

• possibly Dipangkar's students could take care of that and there is also Josh
• Simona will talk with Dipangkar today
• There may be followup meetings with Holly, Mark, Charles, and MSU/CUA/OU students

• Discussion about requirements on pass change
