OCCUPANCY-DETECTION EFFICIENCY PLOTS

• Compare detection efficiency for IP6/IP8

• 5 on 41 detection efficiency reduced for both, but higher (~78%) for IP8

• t-resolution

• Overall percentage delta-t(=t - t_true) ~few percent (5%)
• stripes at 5 on 41 - particles that don't get accepted seem to create erroneous events - also note that there is energy loss that skews delta-t in one direction, e.g., effect of materials that passing through

• Action:

• 2D plot of detected t vs. true t - to better visualize
• t-resolution: use absolute value (not in units of %)
• Acceptance plots

• Proposals

• Physics section: Structure function impact and pion form factor
• Detector section: Sufficient resolution and detection efficiency (plot or table of geometric detection fractions) to make measurement
