General Meson SF Meeting Summary 5/11/23

PARTICIPANTS: Adnan Bashir, Carlos Ayerbe, Patrick Barry, Rachel Montgomery, Tanja Horn, Tobias Frederico, Huey-Wen Lin

TOWARDS ALGEBRAIC MODELS (Adnan)

• Central part: Dyson-Schwinger equations with algebraic model for QCD like predictions with moderate simplicity

• In this framework can calculate GPDs and from these the PDFs to compare to experimental data

• Can also calculate the EM form factors using the algebraic model

• Next step: use model to calculate TMDs

MESON SFs AT EIC AND TDIS@JLAB22GEV (Rachel)

• Kaon even generator - update the existing splitting functions

• Patrick made progress on that - might be good to have a meeting with subset of people on this topic

• TDIS@JLab 22 GeV would increase phase space for meson PDF studies - develop an experiment for that

• Event generators exist
• Need to determine detector elements needed to carry out the experiment - Carlos A. has made progress on that
• Need to make a GEANT4 detector simulation to run the events through it and check feasibility of the experiment

LATTICE (Huey-Wen)

• General interest in working on the TMDs
