General Meeting Summary 3/7/24

NPS DE-INSTALLATION SCHEDULE AND COMPONENT STORAGE

• Working with Walt Akers on where can store components and have updated schedule

• Very busy schedule with the upcoming SAD and ne

• Looking for any things to speed up the schedule to get the HB back on the SHMS carriage

• Open House: need three days to clean up

• Discussion if want survey at end of experiment and at what distance - one missing survey data point that needs to be done

• Need to check on if everyone unplugging cables needs training

• NPS detector stays in Hall C for the Open House (cables will have been removed from Hall already though) - afterwards will be moved to ESB

• Discussion of updates needed of schedule 3/7/24

• Need to break up line 17 into two pieces from
• Line 28 needs updating - already captured in Line 8
• Line 19 presently moves chiller and shielding to Fabric storage
• Add line specifying to disconnect cables and remove racks from SHMS

DISCUSSION OF PREVIOUS ACTION ITEMS

• make a site map to keep track of NPS components; plan for annual inspection of the NPS components
• make maintenance plan for some of the NPS components, e.g., cooling system and air handling system
• store equipment, mark and label everything
• document procedures - and experience from previous running
• make plan for de-installing cables (personnel and procedures, e.g., protecting connectors) - highest priority, need to figure out electrical training requirements
• make a plan for the next time using the NPS - address in next few months
