- Activities:
- NeurIPs:
- Poster Status
- Paper Status
- NeurIPs:
-
- Capstone Students
- Students: Cullan B., Abhijeet C., Julie C., Diana M. Mentor: Yuri Malitsky
- Meeting tonight at 6pm via zoom
- Send students 2018, 2020, and 2021 data for CDC to get familiar with the data
- Also get correction for 2018 data, then send alcohol-corrected data to students
- Focus them on FCAL data (need to prepare)
- Capstone Students
-
- FDC calibration
- Reach out to Lubomir alternative FDC for cosmics- David.
- 2020 CDC-FDC model results: CDC-FDC model slides
Potentially give capstone students FDC calibration model developmentDiscuss with Simon how useful FDC calibration constants are for physics analyses
- FDC calibration
-
- Next steps
- Decide if we should pursue CCAL first or go straight to FCAL
- Identify CCAL or FCAL data set(s) to start with
- Determine strategy for handling bad channels
CLAS12 Polarized Targets- Good project, no time- Update from James (8/25): concern about poor fits that give polarization (i.e. Diana's eventual target values). Can begin initial data exploration whenever we have time.
- data from fits to obtain polarization AND relevant EPICS data are stored in json files located in /group/poltar/HallB/RGC and should be readable
- **AIEC Auto Control Wish List:**
- Scroll to "Better Look Back Ideas" section: CPP Plans - Better Look Back Ideas
GlueX TOF- Potential for impact unclear, no timeBCAL baseline (slides) - David follows up:- Potential for impact unclear, no time- Do we need another sensor?
- What are the limitations on existing sensor and logging of temp value?
- Next steps
- Talks/Presentations
- Diana at NeurIPS (In-Person: November 28th - Dec 4th, Attending virtual workshops: Dec5th)
