Minutes

Attendees: David L., Ayan R., Vardan G., Fabio R., Jeng T., Cissie M.

  • Location of Data Capture data
  • Discussed how to replay in sync
    • system clock sync (NTP)
    • pssh with specific start time
    • n.b. Vardan implemented code in other context to use measured difference in system clocks to adjust internally.
  • BDX
    • Fabio working on other project (higher time pressure)
    • U280 boards can be used with vitas (ML tooling for xilinx FPGA boards)
  • Vardan continues to work on replacement of JCEdit with application to RTDP
    • Lots of coding but limited testing
    • Highest priority is Open House
    • DPPUI (on github.com)
  • Jeng has been working on PODIO streaming to NERSC with JIRIAF
    • Built image with podio2tcp
    • Run sender on JIRIAF node at JLab
    • Run eicrecon @ Perlmutter as slurm job
      • More JRM and less CPU utilization than expected
      • JIRIAF was used everywhere.

Action Items

  1. Location of Data Capture Data needs to be posted
  2. Need replay instructions in Test Plan document
