Minutes:
Attendees: David L., Carl T., Mike G., Jie C., Vardan G.
- Discussed VTP stream aggregation. Agreed that we need to use accepted taxonomy, where we distinguish between frame aggregation and an event building.
- It was mentioned that the ERSAP framework development is at the stage that it is possible to design proof of concept implementations and test-beds for the JLAB streaming DAQ, as well as EJFAT UDP data stream transport and reassembly engine processing.
- Mike provided EJFAT white paper that will trigger future discussions and strategic planing.
- A short demo was presented showing an ERSAP application in action that receives streaming data in the DAS format from the SAMPA DAQ, passing it through 2 toy polyglot services.
