Run Plan:March 6 - 9 (6am) Setup Beam to Hall-B Tagger Dump and Studies of Beam Properties. Aid MCC to establish physics quality CW 1 pass beam to the Hall-B tagger dump: When reasonable beam spot is achieved on the tagger dump screen perform harp scans, 2C21 and tagger (2C24) harps. Note: harp scans must be performed with 10 nA beam current If beam x/y sizes are ~<250 um, proceed with program below, otherwise ask MCC to retune MCC delivers beam that is set for HPS Continue with 2C24 (tagger) harp scans at 20 nA to check beam tilt angle motion over time, as well as beam position and width stability - till about 6 am, with scans every 1/2 hour Study beam tails as a function of current - every 1 hours increase beam curent to 100 nA and perform tagger harp scan. for harps analysis use upstream left At 6am ask MCC for tagger magnet OFF and degaused, and hall seeped and put to restricted access Beam Energy ~2.0 GeV Current < 200.0 nA CW Position X Y ~0 mm ~0 mm Profile X Y < 0.1 mm < 0.1 mm Target #1 0 mm Magnets PS Current 0 A Chicane Dipole #1 0 A Chicane Dipole #2 0 A DAQ Configuration ___________________ Configuration file Prescales Thresholds Events Per Run Dead Time
