Attended: Moskov, ...Igor.
- On Aug 2nd, ERR-I is sceduled. All details are in [1].
- On July 25th, we had a Marco muBDX@KLF/CPS meeting disciss the following...
- Tonino gave a short presentation about the work he did in the old configuration and the integration in the new.
- We discussed:
- Options to move upstream the whole CPS.
- Options to deflect 0.5 GeV - 5 GeV muons on one side of the beamline:
- Options to shield the detector set up:
- 1) Increasing the permanent magnet Bdl or
- 2) Switching from a pure permanent to a permanent/powerd magnet
- 3) Adding a further magnet downstream.
- Weight, available clearance, of the two dipoles necessary to determine incoming/scattered muon momentum.
- Other possible issues.
- Coordination with KLF Coll and Hall-D team.
- On July 24th, we had a Hovanes CPS meeting discuss CPS design for Hall D and to prepare for ERR-I [2].
- Thermal analysis of the CPS absorber in ANSYS (Tim)
- CPS presentation at ERR-1 (Hovanes)
- CPS technical note (Hovanes, Pavel)
