COSY
COSY is a program/package that can be used to calculate the transport of particles through a magneto-optical system.
Developed at Michigan State, [[1]]
COSY is used to calculate the matrix that transports particles from the target, through the spectrometer magnets, and to the detector hut. COSY can also be used to calculate the inverse transformation (get the initial target quantities from track information in the hut).
You provide information like magnet aperture and length and location, and it calculates the matrix that determines the transport.
The sims repository may have COSY steering files (.fox) to shms and hms directories.
