Announcements
- Thomas: xrootd server is now stood up and available for general use
- Probably need documentation on a CC webpage somewhere
JLab CE
- No significant movement on this
- Need to study spack and come up with a plan on implementing it at JLab
EVIO-6
- C++ version now compiles, but not tested yet
- Few things left to tidy up
- estimate still 1 month more of development/testing
Hall A/C Software
- Carl reached out to Bob M. who pointed him to Ole
- No momentum yet
JANA2
- Nathan will dedicating significant time to start GlueX port this week
- Successful hand off of ACTS (tracking) software effort in EIC to Dmitry
- Some new features for JANA2 will be added due to that experience
MCWrapper
- New release is out
- Adds (optional) post-event-generator/pre-simulation processing task
- xrootd
- Data Federation for EIC (stashcache )
- CVMFS + OSG
- Creating JLab Virtual Organization that will eventually replace the GlueX Virtual Organization set up by Richard Jones
- question of hosting CVMFS share for JLab VO on oasis or JLab decided (it will be oasis)
- Looking into allowing OSG jobs to run on JLab farm
- Motivated by collaboration on EIC with BNL
SRO
- Vardan and Dave A. investigating new Arista switch that could potentially replace CSA software component
- Includes user-programmable FPGA that can be used to process network traffic
- Online reconstruction of CLAS12 data
- Held up by expensive conversion from EVIO to HIPPO (~4Hz/core)
