Minutes:

Attendees: Carl T., Mike G., David A., Jie C., Vardan G.

  • Announcements
    • ersap-java project betta is released
    • ERSAP was presented at the EICUG meeting
    • Successful integrate JANA based (c++) "dummy" engine within the ERSAP application.
  • ERSAP prototypes
    • INDRA VTP
      • Vardan will work preparing and running ERSAP data processing pipeline working with the triggered and streaming CODA DAQ. Effort is in place to be able to test ERSAP backend during the DESY beam tests. VTP data decoder, software trigger and event visualization engines are under development.
      • Carl will look into presenting PEB component, receiving VTP streaming data from the FPGA component.
      • David will provide EVIO data format description used by CODA and ERSAP components downstream of the data pipeline.
      • We discussed data-lake component to be presented as a CODA component (a new coda type) and ERSAP micro-service.
    • INDRA SAMPA
      • SAMPA DAS decoder engines development is in progress. Carl was able to modify Alice code to get endless streaming of the GBT frames.
