  • Goals:
    1. Use TriDAS Software
    2. JANA2 - two triggers (distinguish beam and cosmic ray events in real time)
      • Reach goal: Use AI for self calibration (Cristiano)
  • Current setup exists in Hall-B Counting House
    • Device is in counting house rack room
    • Configuration is in place
    • JANA2 not currently included
  • Agreed to using gcc 9.3 compiler
    • Currently available via /apps/gcc
    • Can we use it from dev-toolset-9 instead? Would provide better binary compatibility with offsite builds.
      • David will check on availability and ask Sergey if it can be installed
  • The environment that is set up for TriDAS on login for the streamdaq account on the clon cluster should be used
    • Currently set to: /usr/clas12/streaming/tridas_latest
    • which points to: /home/streamdaq/TriDAS-v3.0-487-g7af2fdc3-dirty-clas12-Debug
    • Does not contain all TriDAS source
    • May use latest source from GitHub
  • Detector is 3x3 array of scintillating glass
  • Data will be saved using TriDAS event recorder (.pt format)
  • Mariangela will be at JLab the last week of Jan.
  • Stefano will be at JLab ~Feb. 27th
  • Fridays are not a good meeting time. David will set up a Doodle poll to find a better time.
