  • Autonomous Discovery workshop last week
    • Several interesting talks. Particularly on reenforcement learning.
    • Many tabletop experiments where simple robots (mainly arms) could physically change parameters
  • EIC
    • Nathan working on understanding ANL juggler
  • JANA2
    • Nathan started working on GlueX port again.
    • Working inside Docker/Linux
  • CLARA
    • Compiled with JDK11. CLAS12 also has version compiled with JDK11 but still using version with JDK8 until several loose ends are tied up so they can fully switch.
  • EJFAT
    • Waiting on ESnet whitebox design (they can't start the work until May 15th)
      • current design shifted some load balancing to the switches
    • Mike still discussing current design with Dave A.
      • Unclear if we have appropriate switches for prototype (Dave A. is looking into it)
      • Will hold off putting in PR for U280 FPGA card until we know if we will need to purchase switches as well so we know if that needs to come from external funding
  • SRO
    • Vardan sent Carl detailed instructions for running VTP system. Carl hasn't tried it yet.
    • SAMPA system
      • Now up and running
        • DAS and DSP modes
        • GEM readout will be set up by Ed on Tues. or Thurs.
    • ERSAP talk at Streaming Readout VIII workshop still needs a couple of slides.
      • Talk is Friday at 9:00am
  • CODA
    • Carl is working on EVIO graphical event viewer, minor bookkeeping
  • AI
    • AI Experimental Controls
      • Torri getting familiar with CDC calibration scripts
      • Some questions about sample size. Will bring up at AI WG meeting this week
      • Meeting regularly with Naomi on Mondays.
    • Jupyterhub
      • Kishan has updated the online documentation for using Jupyterhub with a GPU
    • Lunch series pages getting updated.
    • AI Toolkit
      • Kishan is working with Nobuo and company on creating a toolkit for their LDRD project on AIMCGEN

  • OSG
    • scosg16 became available for commissioning on Friday.
    • Thomas identified a few issues already and is working through them with operations folks
