• Onsite: Buddhini, Dien, Jason and Doug

• There was a confusion about the meeting rooms so we the people onsite met at the lobby. There was no way to get blujeans so apologies to the off-site participants.
• Dien had questions about the error estimates on her Cerenkov calibration plots shown at the May 31st, 2016 meeting. At that meeting Doug commented that she should re-do them but it was not clear to me or Dien what exactly he wanted her to do. So Doug made it clear that in her E/p distributions,
  • 1) the gaussian fit region was too small.
  • 2) the variation of the average mean and the fitted mean are very different. The average mean seems to be more stable than the fitted mean. This is because the fit region is too small.

Also I am noticing that the probability of the data being described by the fit is ~ 0 when it should be close to 0.5 or at least >0. Dien said she will redo the fits using ROOT Minuit.

• Jason had sent me slides on his work updates but we didnt had time (Doug had to rush off for a meeting) or a computer to look at his work. Will do it next time.
