Target Information

This page contains useful documents and links for all targets used during XEM2 '22. Ideally, one only needs to come here to find all information we have about the targets used. This includes things such as target thicknesses, radiation lengths, and target-specific nuances such as melting.

General Target Issues

  1. Tin (Sn) target yield found to increase steadily over time, probably due to melting: https://hallcweb.jlab.org/elogs/X%3E1+%26+EMC/224
  2. Li6 target yield found to increase suddenly, probably due to melting: https://hallcweb.jlab.org/elogs/X%3E1+%26+EMC/224
  3. He3 Target leaked during primary Ladder 2 20deg running (12/2 - 12/7 or roughly HMS Runs 5798-5984)
