EVIO-6

  • No testing yet of reading older EVIO formats with new C++ code
    • last main task before full testing of new EVIO-6 code
  • Some Doxygen documentation present
    • Needs C++ User's Guide

JANA2

  • Continuing port of GlueX code
    • Translation Table and EVIO Event source mostly complete (two of the hardest parts)

MCWrapper + OSG

  • Looking to port all scripts to python3
  • Dependency discovered on hddm_s (GlueX simulated data file format)
    • used to count number of events in HDDM file
    • currently integrated using python API, but should eventually move to using external process so it can be generalized and break the dependency
  • MCWrapper needs to be made more deployable at remote sites (e.g. Sean Dobbs at FSU)
    • config. file will be needed
  • New issues with submitting to OSG regularly come. Must be dealt with as they occur.
  • Nearly done with oasis for JLab
    • remote site just needs to create directory (waiting for Edgar to return from vacation)

A.I. Activities

  • Thomas B. and Chris T. to give talks at Berkley/NERSC at some point in near future
  • Some discussion with CREX experiment about adopting Hydra

SRO Activities

  • ERSAP document updated with description based on CLARA
  • Hall-B SRO setup can now be used without TriDAS (with some trickery)
  • Ben R. sent VTP file/stream format to Vardan
    • bug identified in firmware
  • Empirically discovered 2 additional header words at start of stream
  • SRO meeting this week moved to Tuesday to resolve scheduling conflict
