AIOP - Polarized Photon Source

Agenda:

  1. Previous Meeting
  2. Announcements
  3. Project Progress
  4. PIER Activities
  5. AOT

Minutes

  1. Jiawei and Patrick presented their work on gathering EPICS data, finding nudge events, and reproducing the coherent peaks. Slides:
  2. Data is extracted from Fall 2018 - Spring 2023 run periods which will hopefully be enough. If not, we can extract data from 2017.

Action Items

  1. Determine if mySampler gives actual measurements or an interpolation between timestamps.
  2. Give some visuals indicating 30 seconds is a good amount of time to wait for the beam to ramp up and the coherent edge to stabilize
  3. Get some information about nudge events: how many, when they happen, etc
  4. Figure out strange behavior in the enhancement around 8.6 GeV
  5. Make a central location to save data: /group/halld/AIOP/data
