Revision as of 22:49, 2 April 2023
Attended: Moskov, ... and Igor.
- During the 6th Joint Meeting of the APS Division of Nuclear Physics and the Physical Society of Japan (HAW22), Hyatt Regency Maui, Lahaina (Maui), Hawaii, October 7-12, 2023, we will have a joint Spectroscopy of Hyperons and Heavy Baryons at JLab and J-PARC Workshop:
- Organizers:
- DNP: Igor Strakovsky (GWU)
- JPS: Takatsugu Ishikawa (Osaka University)
- DNP Speakers:
- Moskov Amaryan (ODU) [experiment] K-Long facility at Jefferson Lab.
- Michael Doering (GWU) [theory] Theory motivation for the K-Long experiment.
- Emilie Passemar (IU) [theory] Testing the Standard Model and looking for new physics with hyperons.
- JPS Speakers:
- Atsushi Hosaka (RCNP, Osaka University) [theory] Pentaquarks Pc and Pcs in a hybrid picture of hadronic molecules and five-quark states.
- Sun Young Ryu (RCNP, Osaka University) [experiment] Searching for hidden strangeness pentaquark states near phi-p threshold.
- Kotaro Shirotori (RCNP, Osaka University) [experiment] Spectroscopy of charmed baryons using hadron beam at J-PARC.
- During CLAS Collab meeting in Paris, Moskov spoke to Patrizia who will be ready for the KLF ERR-I in July 2023. Let us be ready as well. Then let us think about the 7th KLF Collaboration meeting after ERR-I.
- Promotion of Hovanes Egiyan... Spokesmen of the KLF Expriment supported Eugene's proposal to appoint Hovanes as: The KLF Experiment Coordinator from Hall D . Congratulations, Hovanes
- Recent KLF talks: Mikail was invited to give a talk for MESON2023 Workshop in Krakow, Igor gave a Seminar for RCNP, Osaka Univ., and Moskov gave two talks for the CLAS Collaboration meeting in Paris and for the Intersection of Nuclear Structure and High-Energy Nuclear Collisions workshop, INT in Seattle, [1].
- Our KLF Collaboration got several new members from Uconn, Osaka and Kyoto Universities:
- Richard Jones, UConn.
- Atsushi Hosaka, RCNP, Osaka University.
- Takatsugu Ishikawa, RCNP, Osaka University.
- Takashi Nakano, RCNP, Osaka University.
- Toshiyuki Gogami, Kyoto University.
The full list of members of the KLF Collaboration is on Wiki.
