Attended: Moskov, Mikhail, Justin, Hovanes, Sean, and Igor. Jim is traveling.

  • Mikhail updated a status of the Flux monitor development [1].
  • On August 8th, we had a Hovanes CPS meeting for a development of the conseptual design of the Tiger hall with CPS [2]. Temperature map calculations (Tim) [3] and Update on conceptual design (Vitaly) [4]. Hovanes added a document that among other things specifies the change in the magnetic field of the PDV permanent magnets that we use in Hall D after some average dose received by the magnet. It also defines the material of the permanent magnet as "Type 8 Strontium Ferrite" [5].
  • On August 12th, we had a Tim's discussion for 2023 budget and what we will be ready to procure for the project [6].
  • On August 22th, we had a Hovanes CPS meeting for a development of the conseptual design of the Tiger hall with CPS [7]. CPS temperature map calculations (Tim) [8]. Updates on the CPS conceptual design and activation dose for the KPT (Vitaly) [9].
  • On August 26th, Tanja Horn had a CPS meeting (main focus is CPS for Hall C)[10].


  • Eugene informed us that we have to have a readeness review for the KLF in January 2023. Patrizia will assign a committee and gave us a chart in December 2022. There are several crirical issues: CPS, KPT, KFM, and 128 ns bunch spread.


  • We have to improve KPT at [11] and merge [12] with [13] and CPS [14] documents (all is on Overleaf).
