Minutes

All the students have been working on uncabling the BigBite.

• Mike and Tyler had questions about what they should start on to get prepared for the analysis and experiment.
• SDien has started to work on the acceptance cuts. But need the simulation to compare to data. But the simulation program (SAMC) doesn't have the cross-section model and radiative corrections for He3 so now working on adding those.
• Tyler is working on his GRC poster and TA grading stuff. He still needs to pick up on the raster.
• Mike started looking at doing the energy measurement with the help of Tong. Doug suggested Mike and Tong should help him to organize all the 12 GeV energy measurement data they have. The new F2n/F2p plots Mike generated with the help of Havier were sent to Markis and Mina. He is waiting to get their feedback.
• Jonathan is working on the Hall C aerogel detectors. In addition he has been familiarizing him self with the Hall A analyzer.
• Jason is trying to figure out how to get the correct nucelon momentum distribution using his multi variable fit. Finding the correct combination is hard.
• Tong has started to write his thesis.
• Shujie is trying to finish her EMC R analysis and put it on her GRC poster.
