• Target (Liguang talked with Dave Meekins)
  • No manpower is available at the moment to initiate something.
  • (e,e'K⁺) target design should be straightforward.
  • α source mounting may be an issue to consider.
  • Liguang also talked with Radcon to proceed with buying the α source
  • Mixed α source (1 kBq for each)
    • The source may have a issue under low temperature.
    • Vacuum condition is OK.
  • 20 inch diameter for the scattering chamber.
  • CH₂ target
    → Detail needs to be determined. (need to be separate?)
• In addition to corrector magnet, steel shields are consider to be added on the beam line.
• Shielding blocks
  • No response from the vender
  • Were there shielding blocks for HES detectors at lower part of dipole magnet?
• Cables for electronics
  • The cables from all spectrometers go to SHMS because there will be space.
• Collaboration Meeting should be held after the ERR

Lead target simulation (Guido)

• Guido got heat a simulation result from Silviu, and Guido showed us the result.
