Target Meeting (JLab Hypernuclear experiment at JLab Hall A/C)

• To ERR
  • We set a target to arrange ERR in October 2022.

• Basic information check / Discussion
  • Gas target (^3,4He, H₂)
    • H₂ target cell needs to be a little bit larger that that of helium targets.
  • Optics target (5 carbon foils)
  • Solid targets
    • Multi-target configuration for each target is being considered in the case of Hall A option.
      → The multi targets seems to be very difficult in the case of Hall C because of poor S/N.
    • Multi-target configuration seems to be difficult for Li, CH₂, Ca.
  • Ladder
    • horizontal insertion is much harder that vertical one.
      → Let's decide to consider only vertical option.
• Scattering chamber
  → new one that is dedicated for the present experiment is needed.

• Next work
  • Dave is giving CREX/PREX target drawing to Toshi
    We will start concrete design with this.
    → Toshi will work on 3D CAD drawings.
    → Toshi received the file on Oct 21, 2021.
