Target Meeting (Hypernuclear experiment at JLab)
- 23:00-24:00 on Jun 6th, 2022 EDT (12:00-13:00 on Jun 7th, 2022 JST)
- Participants: David Meekins (JLab), Toshiyuki Gogami (Kyoto Univ.)
- via ZoomGov
Discussion
- Could a cell wall thickness be thinner?
→ Dave will try to calculate how thin the wall can be.
Only part through which the beam pass may be able to be thinner maintaining its robustness. - Beam current is assumed to be 20uA at the moment. But it could be varied depending on the gas density available.
- CFD simulation will be done to estimate a density reduction of gas.
- Heat calculation → mechanical stress in the cell will be checked.
