AC test at ESB

  • TDC cut for scintillators
    • Current condition: "TDC cut on each TDC → TOF cut"
→ TG suggested to apply only the TOF cut.
  • We found that an ADC of PMTs of scintillators has only pedestal
    → will be checked.
    • Note that the trigger condition is 2 hits out of 4 PMTs.
→ That's why there are pedestals in all ADCs of scintillators.
  • Efficiency
    • About 90% for one PMT.
How much is the inefficiency if two layers are required out of three layers?
  • Channel was converted into NPE.
    • ADC sum of two PMTs
→ NPE ~ 9 which is consistent with the results obtained a few years ago.
