Strategy Meeting

Info

  • 21:00- on Feb 03, 2022 (JST)
  • Franco, Mark, Nue, Liguang, Guido, Joerg, Pete, Sho, Gogami
  • via Zoom

Discussion (1)

  • Possibility of HKS in Hall C (c.f. Collaboration Meeting 2021)
    • Kinematics difference between Hall A and C.
Larger energy in Hall A which leads to a better S/N, but worse resolution.
    • Three cases are being studied, A: PCS+HKS+SHMS, B: PCS+HKS+HES, C: SPL+HKS+HES.
→ Solid angle / momentum resolution were shown after Q strength were adjusted for the B and C option.
  • Beam time
    • When ?
→ Could be in 2026~ even in Hall C.
    • Moller 2024. SBS is being tried to be done before that.
→ HKS would be in 2029~ in the case of Hall A.
    • Could HRS-HRS (hyper) be jumped in (in 2024? for example)?
→ HRS-HKS could take a similar time to install.
    • Can be longer ?

→ 1. HRS-HKS in Hall A (2024?), 2. XXX-HKS in Hall C (2026~), 3. quick HRS-HRS(HKS) experiment (+ α later) in Hall A

Report

  • Information to share
    • PCS status
    • Hall A / C simulation (Tohoku)

Discussion (2)

  • Paper draft (nnΛ)
  • Presentations in Hall A Winter Collaboration meeting
    • Toshi: nnΛ
    • Guido: HKS
