Target Meeting (Hypernuclear experiment at JLab)

  • E12-15-008: 40Ca, 48Ca (150 mg/cm2)
    • 40 is easy to obtain, but not for 48.
    • Dave asked Oak Ridge National Lab. to purchase the Ca material.
      → no response yet.
      → Dave will contact the Lab.
  • E12-20-013: 208Pb (100-150 mg/cm2)
    • The thickness needs to be fixed for design.
    • Cryogenic system would be needed for target cooling.
    • 20 μA would be OK to apply.
  • Common calibration: 12C (150 mg/cm2), CH2 (500 mg/cm2), 27Al (150 mg/cm2)

Proposing next year

  • LOI12-23-013: 6Li, 9Be, 11Be (100 mg/cm2)
  • LOI12-23-016: 27Al (100 mg/cm2)
  • LOI12-23-011: there may need special needs.
