Summary of Sep. 10th

Owl shift

  1. Shift summary by the shift expert: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3844919
  2. Issues: Finished fixing the BOM and the installing the new beamline exit window. Beam first delivery at 3 AM on the tagger for harp scans and a Moller run. Waited for MCC to send some one to tune the BPM.
  3. Recorded data: None

Day shift

  1. Shift summary by the shift expert: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3845226
  2. Issues: BPM got tuned at 9 AM. Then beam went down for 4 hours to fix the Hall B/C seprator. beam back around 13:30 PM totally bad. Extremly high counts on the US halo counter. Contacted MCC and then found that the seprator had issues that might caused the high rates. magnet power supply problem on the accelrator.
  3. Recorded data: None

Swing shift

  1. Shift summary by the shift expert: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3845462
  2. Issues: did the target scan and found now positions on 2H01 (x= +1.6, y=-1.9). We still see high rates at the upstream halo counter. We solved it by shifting the beam back to normal positions on 2c24 (-1.6mm, -0.5mm) and new target scan resulted a new position on 2H01 to (+0.7, -1.6).
  3. Recorded data: none

Whole day summary

  1. Total recorded data today: none
  2. Part-II total accumulated data on D2: 1.66B
  3. Concerns: none by the end of the swing shift
