RC:
Summary of Sep. 5th
Owl shift
- Shift summary by the shift expert: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3841355
- Issues: 0 beam. First recovering from a cold box crash, then recovering the RF.
- Recorded data: 0
Day shift
- Shift summary by the shift expert: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3841463
- Issues: Beam finally back and deemed acceptable (harp scans) at 10:20. However, it's quite ratty and trips a lot. On the plus side, the Halo Counters and the vacuum excursions seem to have calmed down a bit.Even the BOM and CTOF are a bit lower.
- Recorded data: 18 M events on D2. Not exactly impressive.
Swing shift
- Shift summary by the shift expert: https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3841736
- Issues: Beam o.k. until 6, then off until 10. During that break, switched from D2 to H2
- Recorded data: 12 M events on D2, 2.3 M events on H2
Whole day summary
- Total recorded data today: 32.5 M events
- Part-II total accumulated data on D2: 1.57 B events
- Concerns: Beam continues to be iffy, with many major breakdowns taking it off for hours
