Mott Run1 Target Thickness Study -- Best Data

Provided in summary tables in link to .ods document below.

8/6/15 -- summary tables for a few energy and ToF cuts on January 2015 run data. Physics asymmetries and rates presented. Accompanying Asymmetry vs Thickness plots for the tables are also linked.

Sensitivity of A0 and Lambda to Systematic Time and Energy Cuts

Asymmetry versus thickness (with chi-squared values) plots for 1) FSEM measured thicknesses and uncertainties (same data as from July 14th presentation) 2)FSEM measured thicknesses and uncertainties adjusted to account for 5% variation within a given batch, as quoted be Lebow. 3)Lebow-quoted thicknesses (ie nominal thicknesses) with 10% uncertainty. 4) Table summarizing A_0s, lambdas and chi-squared values. To find χ2/ndf, divide the given chi-squared values by 10 (number of degrees of freedom is number of foils (12) minus number of fit parameters (2)).

FE-SEM image data files

The output of the FE-SEM is a .tif file. The free software "ImageJ" has been used to measure the foil thickness from these images. The files with "meas" in the title have been output by the ImageJ software, and when they are opened again in that software, they show the lines/paths that were used to measure the thickness of the gold foils.
